Indications and usage of Cholagol: choledocholithiasis, chronic cholecystitis and cholangitis (in remission), dyspeptic syndrome associated with chronic liver diseases and after bile passages surgery.
Dosage and administration of Cholagol: PO, 5-10 drops on a piece of sugar, 30 minutes before meals. Dosage interval should be no less, than 5 hours. If necessary (gallstone colic) the dose may be stepped up to 20 drops per one administration.
Maximum daily dose is 30 drops a day.
To prevent or reduce dyspeptic phenomena, the medication may be administered with meals or in fed state.
Treatment duration should not exceed 6 weeks.
Before using in children (over 12 years) one should consult a physician.
Adverse effects: allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, epigastric burning.
Contraindications: hypersensitivity to medication components; acute inflammatory diseases of liver and bile passages, severe renal impairments, pregnancy, lactation period. Not for pediatric use under the age of 12.
With vigilance: alcoholism, epilepsy, cerebropathy or brain injuries.
Pregnancy and lactation period: the medication is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation period.
Hepatic impairment: the medication is contraindicated in case of acute inflammatory liver diseases.
Renal impairment: the medication is contraindicated in case of severe renal impairments.
Pediatrics: not for pediatric use under the age of 12. Before using in children (over 12 years) one should consult a physician.
Overdosage: accidental overdosage in children – nausea, fits, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea.
Store in a light-proof and dry place, at a temperature of 10-25 °С . Keep out of reach of children.
Expiry date: 3 years.
